Warranty on Large Appliances - GITEX

Terms & Conditions

This GITEX, when you buy large appliances, you are entitled to receive FREE additional one year Plug Ins warranty in addition to 1 year manufacturer’s warranty.

1st year – Manufacturer’s warranty

Manufacturer’s warranty is applicable as per terms and conditions listed by the manufacturer and will commence from the date of purchase mentioned on the invoice.

Warranty terms will be as provided by the manufacture/principal supplier and Plug Ins is a facilitator only.

Warranty becomes invalid if the product has been opened or tampered with by an unauthorized person/other service centre.

Please retain sales invoice and warranty card to claim warranty.

Warranty is applicable within limits of UAE only, unless specified.

Accessories, batteries and consumables are not covered under warranty.

2nd year – Plug Ins warranty

FREE Warranty is only available for purchases made until midnight on April 1, 2017. Additional warranty will be charged after that.

Plug Ins Warranty does not cover physical or water damage to the product, or damage due to neglect, abuse or misuse of the product

Plug Ins Warranty does not cover breakdown of the product due to fire, unless caused by an electric malfunction within the product

Unauthorised repair by third party agents nullifies the Plug Ins warranty

A replacement unit will only be provided once the cause of damage has been determined and deemed unintentional and is due to mechanical failure. The replacement may be a fully refurbished product of the same specification or higher. Large appliances can take up to 30 business days to be replaced.

Appliances will be replaced with the same or a similar product if not repaired within 330 business days.

Free collection and delivery of faulty unit is valid on warranted products with a value of at least AED 5,000. Available within the city limits of Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah.

Free collection of un-repaired items for recycling is available for large appliances.

Unlimited free repairs do not cover the labour cost or parts on units found to be damaged or misused. Products will be repaired up to a limit of the value of the products.
